Veuillez noter que les BlackJacks auraient changé de nom et s’appelleront désormais Pétrole et Propane Bélanger. Ils joueraient en tant qu’équipe réservée aux voyages, mais le site Web de la LNAH les répertorie toujours ainsi que leurs résultats de jeu sous le nom de BlackJacks de Berlin, d’où l’astérisque.

Après s’être repliés à la mi-novembre et avoir été repris par la LNAH, les BlackJacks* de Berlin ont effectué leur retour tant attendu sur la glace ce week-end avec un match à domicile* contre le futur marquis Jonquière. Par coïncidence, le match a été joué à la patinoire du marquis Jonquière, ce qui semble un peu injuste à Berlin, du moins à notre avis.

Malgré la foule hostile* à la maison, les BlackJacks* ont inscrit le premier but de la soirée lorsque Sasha Pokulok a inscrit son troisième but de l’année sur Olivier Daunais et Francis Desrosiers.

Malheureusement, les officiels franco-canadiens (10 pénalités sur Berlin* à seulement 8 sur Jonquière) et les partisans ont infligé un lourd tribut aux BlackJacks par rapport au reste du premier match, les invités * ayant marqué quatre fois pour une avance de 4-1 à la première pause.

Nos héros ont riposté dans la seconde, obtenant l’unique but de la période de Benjamin Rubin, des aides de Desrosiers et de Dominic Beauchemin, réduisant ainsi l’avance de Jonquière à 4-2 pour se diriger vers le troisième.

Malheureusement, encore une fois, les invités* étaient à la hauteur de la tâche et inscrivaient les deux premiers buts de la troisième pour une avance insurmontable de 6-2.

Mais les BlackJacks* ont réussi à faire plaisir aux supporters de la maison* avec un but à la dernière minute pour une marge finale de 6-3. MJ Graham a marqué grâce aux signaux de Beauchemin et Desrosiers pour couronner le score.

Desrosiers a terminé la soirée avec trois aides, tandis que Beauchemin a ajouté une paire. Au filet, Maxine Clermont a effectué 27 arrêts sur 33 tirs contre.

Les deux mêmes équipes seront de retour en action ce vendredi soir lorsque Berlin* se rend* à Jonquière pour une rencontre au Palais des Sports. La rondelle est fixée à 20 heures, heure locale.

BlackJacks* Bulletin: Berlin stumbles in home* re-debut

Please note, the BlackJacks were reportedly changing their name to Pétrole et Propane Bélanger, and playing as a travel only team, but the LNAH webstill still lists them and their game results as the Berlin BlackJacks, thus the asterisk.

After folding in the middle of November and being taken over by LNAH, the Berlin BlackJacks* made their long-awaited return to the ice this weekend with a home* game against the upstart Marquis Jonquiere, coincidentally, the game was played at the home rink of Marquis Jonquiere, which seems a little unfair to Berlin, at least in our opinion.

Despite the hostile home* crowd, the BlackJacks* tallied the first goal of the night when Sasha Pokulok netted his third of the year on a feed from Olivier Daunais and Francis Desrosiers.

Unfortunately, the biased French-Canadian officials (10 penalties on Berlin* to just 8 on Jonquiere) and fans took their toll on the BlackJacks over the remainder of the first, as the guests* scored four times for a 4-1 lead at the first break.

Our heroes battled back in the second, getting the only goal of the period from Benjamin Rubin, on assists from Desrosiers and Dominic Beauchemin to cut the Jonquiere lead to 4-2 heading to the third.

Unfortunately, once again, the guests* were up to the task and potted the first two goals of the third for an insurmountable 6-2 lead.

But the BlackJacks* were able to send the home* fans happy with a goal in the final minute for the final margin of 6-3. MJ Graham scored on feeds from Beauchemin and Desrosiers to cap the scoring.

Desrosiers finished the night with three assists, while Beauchemin added a pair. In net, Maxine Clermont made 27 saves on 33 shots against.

The same two teams will be back in action this Friday night when Berlin* travels* to Jonquiere for a tilt at the Palais des Sports.  Puck drop is set for 8pm local time.
